This unit specifies the outcomes required for the operation of a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachment, for licensing purposes. This definition also includes a truck on which the operator is raised with the attachment for order-picking.

Participants must:
- Have at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- Have access to a suitable workplace to complete the on-the-job training component.
Delivery Details
This course is delivered over 3 days using a combination of face-to-face classroom and practical activity sessions. 7.00am – 3.00pm.
Class size: 8 students.
Course Outcomes
On successful completion of all relevant assessments (knowledge, calculations, and performance or practical) participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in completion of Licence to operate a forklift truck – TLILIC0003.
Successful completion of this training product is dependent on the learner meeting all course requirements. Completion does not guarantee a specific employment outcome, as this is influenced by factors outside the RTO's control.
