What You Will Learn
This course is designed to refresh and renew the knowledge of workers who have successfully completed a nationally accredited Enter and work in a confined space RIIWHS202E course and aims to provide workers with refreshed knowledge and skills to work in a confined space environment.
Refresher training does not necessarily require full training and assessment against the full unit of competency that was required for the initial Enter and work in a confined space training. This course delivers training in the theoretical component of the competency RIIWHS202E only.
You may undertake this course at your own pace, but in general, the online training course will take approximately 3 hours to complete. You can exit the course and return at any time. You will have 30 days from the date of your registration in the course to complete the refresher training.
Course Topics Include
This course is divided into 5 modules and at the end of each module you will be asked to complete a short assessment to confirm your understanding of the information presented in each module. The 5 modules include.
- Reliable WHS information
- Planning to work in a confined space
- Preparing to work in a confined space
- Performing work in a confined space
- Exiting a confined space
A Certificate of Completion is issued on successful completion of the course, and you are required to get a 100% pass mark to be deemed as understanding the content. It is recommended by Australian Industry Associations that refresher training is conducted every 2 years.
