Learn the essential skills needed to work safely on construction sites where the work activity involves working above 1.5 metres from the ground level and where fall protection measures are required.

Course Topics Include

It is expected that competent participants should be able to:

  • WHS legislative duties.
  • Identify work requirements.
  • Select height safety equipment.
  • Inspect height safety equipment.
  • Access and install height safety equipment.
  • Perform work at heights.
  • Rescue.
  • Clean up work area.

Entry Requirements

Participants must have at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.

Delivery Details

This course is delivered over 6 - 8 hours using a combination of face-to-face classroom and practical activity sessions. Courses run from 7.00am - 3.00pm

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of all relevant assessments (theory and practical) participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in completion of Work safely at heights - CPCCCM2010B.
