What You Will Learn

In the “Work Safely at Heights (CPCCCM2012)” course, participants will learn essential skills for safely working at elevated levels. The training covers critical aspects such as hazard identification, risk assessment, selection and use of fall protection equipment, and compliance with safety regulations. Through practical exercises and simulations, participants will develop the expertise needed to assess and mitigate risks associated with working at heights, ensuring a secure and compliant approach to elevated work environments.

Course Details

Pre-Requisites

Apply OHS requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry – CPCWHS1001.

Entry Requirements

Participants must have:

  • At least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • Access to a workplace to complete on-the-job training.

Delivery Details

This course is delivered over 8 hours using a combination of face-to-face classroom and practical activity sessions. Courses run from 6.30am – 3.00pm.

Class size: 8 students.

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of all relevant assessments (theory and practical) participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in completion of CPCCCM2012 Work safely at heights.
